    Fellow Past Students, This serves as a reminder that there is still an outstanding balance re loan secured to Insure School BU$ donated to the School almost a year ago. In order to make a final payment, another Seafood Fiesta is planned for next Friday, August 8. If you did not participate in the first Fiesta, here's your opportunity to enjoy a sumptuous meal consisting of Lobster/Fish/Festival/Bammy (Hellshire Style) for only J$2,000 to be either picked up at Mello Moods, 21 Holborn Road, Shop # 2, New Kingston or delivered between the hours of 11:00 a.m and 1:00 p.m. Please feel free to invite co-workers/friends on board. We encourage more pick up this time around in the interest of cost/time. One hundred and ten thousand dollars ($110,000.00) representing proceeds from the Fiesta was used to offset Loan secured to cover Insurance expenses. We are still awaiting response(s) from those who pledged; there is still an outstanding balance.   • John Powell Open Chess Tournament 2014 by Claire Grant

    Congrats are in order for Young Raven NM Alistair Walker twice in less than a week as he has earned a spot in the National Chess Championships that is to be played later this year. NM Walker ended the John Powell Open tournament in Mandeville over the weekend with a score of 3.5 points from 5 games. Congrats go out to NM Walker and we trust that the timing of the Nationals does not conflict with exams and that he is are able to play and get a shot at making the Olympiad team to represent Jamaica later this year.
